Notes from the Trail

Welcome!

We are Stan and Vicky Dobbs, and we are in a glorious season of our lives.  After raising four kids and launching three ministries, we are blessed with young grandbabies and some margin to see more of the world.  We have a passion for travel – especially sites of natural beauty like America’s National Parks – and are well on our way to visiting them all!  America The Beautiful.

After thousands of miles of travel and hiking, Notes from the Trail is our repository of musings on God, creation and this wonderful gift called life.  Married since 1987, we are definitely “one-flesh” – but our personal journeys are also unique, so we have separate “notes” sections.  We hope our thoughts are fun, inspiring and thought provoking and that we can be an encouragement to others seeking Truth.

This site is dedicated to our kids and grandkids – so that they may know us as deeply as we desire to know them and point them to God.
